Prepare to be transported to fantastic places and meet mystical characters at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery this Saturday!
Join award winning international storyteller Peter Chand as he takes you on a journey with his wonderful tales from India on the theme of ‘Heroes and Villains.’ Many of his stories have been translated from Punjabi into English and performed all over Britain, Europe and India itself. Full audience participation is invited at each session so don’t be shy, join in the fun! Storytelling sessions will be held every half hour throughout the day at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm.
Younger visitors will have the opportunity to create their own storytelling puppet.
This event is free but children must be accompanied by an adult.
Councillor Ian Lloyd, Portfolio Holder for Arts & Leisure stated:
“If you are looking for stimulating, creative and free activities for children over the weekend these events offer a great opportunity to get involved at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery.”
