Paving works at Cleaver Gardens
Published on Wednesday, 31st July 2019
Pavement improvement works have started at Cleaver Gardens.
The project is part of the Council’s estate improvement programme, which comprises a suite of local repair, replacement and enhancement schemes, prioritising those issues of greatest concern to local residents.
Cllr Chris Watkins, portfolio holder for Housing and Communities said:
“The paving replacement scheme at Cleaver Gardens is a great example of the on-going practical work we do to improve life for our communities. We use our regular estate walkabouts to pick up on any issues of concern locally and where possible we feed them into our programme of work - it is always fantastic to see the practical action taken in response to residents’ feedback.”
In identifying and addressing estate improvement issues, the Council works closely with the Nuneaton and Bedworth Residents’ Partnership.
Cllr Watkins said:
“We are always extremely grateful to the wonderful volunteers of the Residents’ Partnership – they are constantly in touch with residents and help us to find out quickly when things need to be repaired or improved. They also help us to prioritise work so that we target the things that matter the most to local people.”
