In Touch

Previously, hard copies of the residents’ magazine were distributed to households throughout the Borough alongside the online version; the Council has now decided to reduce the number of printed magazines to one single annual edition, a move which will save both paper and money.

Under the new arrangements, ‘In Touch Digital’ will be issued three times each year, during the summer, winter and spring. The hard copy ‘In Touch Annual’ will be sent out to households in the autumn, taking the form of a coffee-table style magazine and including valuable information about the Council’s services.

The new digitally-led approach embraces wider customer trends towards online information and services, and is consistent with the approach taken by many other local authorities. Over recent years, NBBC has invested significantly in digital resources, strengthening its online presence through high quality customer services, connected payment and booking facilities, enhanced websites and social channels.

Printed copies of the In Touch content remain available for residents upon request – please contact our Customer Services Team or email us at customer.services@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk if you would like a copy.

Cllr Julie Jackson, Leader of the Council said:

“The move to In Touch Digital allows us to save money and help the environment. It acknowledges modern trends where more and more people access information on a smartphone or computer, rather than in paper form.

“Of course, there is still a need for paper communications which is why we will be sending out an annual publication to all households. We believe that this more substantial hard copy publication will be useful to our residents as it will keep important information about our services at their fingertips.”
