FREE Summer Activities Fun!

Every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery Tuesday 23 July to Thursday 29 August 10.30am – 3.30pm
Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery will once again be making summer even more fun by offering some fabulous FREE activities for children over the holidays. Visitors to our special Make ‘n’ Take workshops will have the opportunity to enjoy themselves whilst trying out their artistic skills!
No need to book, just pop along. All children must be accompanied by an adult. At busy times you may be asked to wait. The activities will be as follows:
Fossils & Dinosaurs Week
23 July - Make an amazing paper plate dinosaur
24 July - Make a scary T- Rex Dinosaur mask
25 July - Create a colourful ammonite fossil mobile
Lost Local Landmarks Week
30 July - Cut out a model of Weddington Castle
31 August - Make a replica of Griff coal mine
1 August - Re create Tuttle Hill windmill with turning sails
Transport of the 1920s Week
6 August - Create a canal boat
7 August - Cut out and colour a railway locomotive
8 August - Make a fantastic biplane model
Museum Around The World Week
13August - Make a colourful puppet of the Hindu God Ganesh
14 August - Create your own Chinese dragon
15 August - Decorate a Japanese fan inspired from our collections
Stories & Legends Week
20 August - Make and colour a Noah’s Ark
21 August - Make a finger puppet for storytelling
22 August - Cut out and decorate a genie and lamp
By The Seaside Week
27 August - Create a beach hut door hanger
28 August - Make and decorate a lighthouse
29 August - Cut out and decorate a fantastic flapping seagull mobile
Don’t Forget!
Our next storytelling session for under 5s is on Wednesday 21 August from 11:15am to 11:45am. No need to book, just drop in!
