Hands on History - Celebrating Summer

Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery - Saturday 15 June 11am – 4pm
Delight in the pleasures of summer with a selection of objects celebrating sunny days, balmy evenings, gardens, beaches and holidays.
Visitors will have the opportunity to handle and examine a range of summery items including a beautiful hand-painted fan, parasol and sun hat amongst others. Our Access Assistants will be on hand to share the history of these fascinating artefacts.
Hands on History sessions are free and there is no need to book. Drop in between 11am to 4pm in the Picture Gallery.
Councillor Ian Lloyd, Portfolio Holder for Arts & Leisure stated:
“The Museum’s Hands on History sessions create the perfect opportunity to get out and explore the Museum & Art Gallery. The event is free and there is also the opportunity to view the latest exhibitions on display. Everyone will find something to interest them.”
Don't forget our FREE Storytelling for Under 5s on Wednesday 19 June! Join Melly between 11.15am and 11.45am for an adventure story with Melly the Explorer. Be prepared to join in, make some noise and have lots of fun. No booking required, just drop in. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
