FREE Easter Holiday Activities for Children
Published on Wednesday, 10th April 2019
Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery - Tuesday 16 April to Thursday 25 April 10.30am – 3.30pm
Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery will once again be offering some fabulous FREE activities for children over the Easter holidays. No need to book, just pop along. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
At busy times you may be asked to wait. Donations are welcomed.
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be taking place on Sunday 21 April between 2pm and 4.30pm! Find all the eggs hidden in the Museum and enter the prize draw for a big Easter Egg!
Don’t forget! We also have some terrific activities you can get creative with in our current exhibitions. Why not build a townscape in the Leah Stuart exhibition ‘Holidaying in Nuneaton’? You can complete a jigsaw and make your own landscape picture in Lucy Fiona Morrison’s exhibition ‘Wild Places’ and there are always creative things for children to discover in all of our galleries.
The activities will be as follows:
Tuesday 16 April - Design and make a 3D Easter card to send to someone over the holidays!
Wednesday 17 April - Create an Easter egg collage mobile
Thursday 18 April - Make the famous Easter Rabbit from a paper plate. We’ll show you how!
Friday 19 April (Good Friday) - Make an opening Easter egg with mini chick inside!
Activities this week are about ‘Epic Journeys’, inspired by artist Leah Stuart.
Bank Holiday Monday 22 April - Make a pirate ship on a moving seascape
Tuesday 23 April - Make a colourful airship door hanger
Wednesday 24 April - Make an arctic explorer’s mask
Thursday 25 April - Make a superb Viking long ship model
