Reduced market due to high winds.

Published on Friday, 8th March 2019

Due to high winds forecast throughout the day we will be operating a reduced market only in Nuneaton today Saturday 9 March.

Whilst no stalls will be erected for safety reasons, all traders have been offered the opportunity to trade directly from their vehicles.

Winds speeds are predicted to reach gusts of 43mph, which are beyond the recommended tolerance for our stalls, making it unsafe to run the market in full. It is understood that other local markets are also considering cancelling their Saturday market on similar grounds.
