Final phase of Pride in Camp Hill programme begins

On 22 February 2019 the Council made a Compulsory Purchase Order, named the “Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council (Camp Hill Phase 3 – Hazel Road, Edinburgh Road, Hillcrest Road and Gorsy Way) Compulsory Purchase order 2019.”
The Order has been made by the Council to facilitate the final phase of the Camp Hill regeneration scheme, for the provision of approximately 140 new homes together with associated highway and other infrastructure.
Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, Planning Casework Unit, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, 5 St Philips Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2PW before Wednesday 3rd April 2019 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.
Cllr Ian Lloyd, Deputy Leader of the Council said:
“The award-winning Pride in Camp Hill regeneration programme has totally transformed the Camp Hill area, with over 800 new homes, a new village centre, new business opportunities, targeted skills programmes and improved road layout.
“We welcome this final phase which will see the transformation complete.”
