WASPs ticket winners

Lottery half birthday anniversary draw winners enjoy a fun day out.

On Saturday, Carl Harris and his family were delighted to attend a Wasps home game and meet one of the players as part of a prize which they won via the Borough Lottery half birthday anniversary draw last October.

Harris, Corps Director for Phantom Knights, his wife Joanne and their two children Lloyd and Rose, enjoyed a great day out and were delighted to also have the opportunity to meet and be photographed with Wasps player Marcus Garratt at half-time during the game.

Deputy Leader of the Council and fellow Wasps Season Member, Cllr Ian Lloyd, was also in attendance at Saturday’s game.

Lloyd said:

“I’m really pleased to see Mr Harris and his family enjoying their day thanks to the Borough Lottery and Wasps Rugby Club, and these tickets are just one of the many fantastic prizes that Lottery players have the chance of winning.

“In addition to the prize, the Borough Lottery has generated income and exposure for Mr Harris’ American-style marching Show Corps, good cause Phantom Knights”.

“It was great to see a fellow Wasps supporter reap the rewards of the Lottery competition and a great day was enjoyed by all.”

Verity Brown, Marketing Manager for Wasps said:

“It was wonderful to have the Harris family along to enjoy the match on Saturday. The Borough Lottery is a fantastic initiative which does so much for local good causes – we are delighted to be able to support it in some way.”
