Published on Thursday, 15th November 2018

Don’t forget that the 2018 Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival will be starting on Monday and running until 30 November.

The festival promises to be packed with a host of over 100 corporate events from a wide range of business sectors.

There will be small networking workshops, seminars and large trade shows as well as conferences providing an opportunity for businesses of all sizes to gain valuable business advice, develop networks and meet industry experts.

The festival is run by businesses for businesses and will present a host of learning opportunities to help businesses achieve their potential; from learning about export, ways to target new markets, identifying cross-selling opportunities or sourcing new supply chains plus many more.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council are joint hosting two events. The first, the ‘Gigabit Voucher Scheme’ event is a drop-in engagement at Nuneaton Town Hall on November 27 which will provide excellent networking opportunities for high speed broadband suppliers and likeminded businesses. Funding will be available to enable businesses or residents gain faster and more reliable broadband connections, which can help business enhance their productivity.

The second, ‘Tackling the Skills Shortage’, will explore different approaches to recruitment and, with support from industry professionals, aid businesses in discovering some of the many talent pools available to help them grow. This event will be held at the Eliot Park Innovation Centre on Thursday, November 22.

Cllr Ian Lloyd, Portfolio holder for Arts, Leisure and Economic Development said:

“This festival is a fantastic chance for all businesses of any size to gain some invaluable advice. Our region is at the heart of UK business expertise and this festival once again showcases the regions strengths and investment potential.

“I would urge business associates to come along and take advantage of the multitude of free advice on offer.”
