Pop up Museum to be launched in Nuneaton

Published on Friday, 26th October 2018

The “Pop up Museum" is a new project by Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery which will allow the museum to share objects and stories from their collections at the Town Hall, Nuneaton.

The “Pop Up" will be launched by Councillor Julie Jackson at 1pm on 30 October and will be located on the ground floor of the Town Hall, Nuneaton in the waiting area.

The displays will be changed 4 times a year and the first exhibit is about Nuneaton Priory. It’s free to view and is open the same hours as the Town Hall 9.00am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Councillor Ian Lloyd Portfoilo Holder for Arts and Leisure said:

It’s great to be able to showcase the museum’s collections in a new setting.  It should provide interest to those visiting the Town Hall and help celebrate the borough’s rich history.
