Borough Lottery tickets on sale NOW!

The new lottery, launched by the Borough Council in partnership with Gatherwell Ltd, is set to benefit local charities and voluntary groups across Nuneaton and Bedworth.

Anyone buying a £1 ticket from are be able to elect for 50 pence of the money to go to the official good cause of their choice. A further 10 pence will go to a general community pot, which will be distributed to other local good causes. The money from remaining ticket sales will fund prizes and cover the administration costs of the Operator.

With a 1 in 50 chance of winning a prize each week, the Borough Lottery offers better odds of winning than the National Lottery or the Health Lottery. The jackpot is £25,000.

Each ticket consists of 6 numbers and each number will be between 0 and 9. Draws take place every Saturday night when a 6 digit winning combination will be picked. 


Cllr Dennis Harvey, Leader of the Council said:

“We have launched the Borough Lottery to help local groups generate a regular income. So far we’ve had 42 groups sign up to become good causes.

“We hope that residents will get behind the Lottery by buying tickets and encouraging local voluntary groups to apply to register as good causes.”


Alison Thompson, Locality Manager of Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action said:

“The Borough Lottery is great news for the voluntary sector in Nuneaton and Bedworth.

“We have over 400 community groups in the Borough and the Lottery presents them with a fantastic opportunity to raise vital funds.

”This is a chance for local people to get behind local good causes – and win some amazing prizes too.”
