Homing In has a new style
Published on Monday, 19th March 2018
Council tenants and leaseholders are getting their news in a new way.
The Homing In magazine, which was previously sent to all Council tenants and leaseholders in hard copy, has been given a new lease of life in an online format, emailed to tenants’ inboxes every two months.
The magazine is full of housing and community information for tenants and leaseholders and is available on the NBBC website https://www.nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk/homing-in
Julie Jackson, Portfolio holder for Housing and Communities said:
“We are delighted to present the new style ‘Homing In’ – it is interactive, making it much easier for our tenants to get hold of information quickly. It adapts to different devices so it works well on smart phones and tablets.
“I’d ask Council tenants and leaseholders to make sure that the Council holds their correct email address so that we can contact them in this way, if they are happy for us to do so - please email firstname.lastname@example.org with contact details so they can be added to our system.”
Andrew Moore, Deputy Chair of the Nuneaton and Bedworth Residents’ Partnership said:
“We are really pleased with the new style Homing In and love the interactive way it can help tenants. It’s a much more user friendly way of communicating with people. This is a completely new venture for us and, as always, we would love to hear people’s feedback. Also if any tenant or leaseholder has an idea for something they would like to see included in a future edition please let us know.
“We will link Homing In to our Residents’ Partnership Facebook page so you can find it there too.”
