Town centre survey works

Published on Friday, 12th January 2018

Please be aware that during the course of January and February there will be various survey works undertaken in Nuneaton town centre.

The works will take place at various locations across town and will be planned to minimise any inconvenience to residents, businesses and visitors.

Commissioned by the Transforming Nuneaton Partnership, the surveys and investigations will provide the essential information needed to take the Programme forward, ultimately providing a package of investment in the town centre to attract more visitors.

For further information about the Programme please see the website.

Survey work will begin on Abbey Street Car Park on Monday, 15 January, 2018 and will be undertaken over a two week period. During this time a number of spaces in various locations across the car park will be unavailable, however, any inconvenience to the public will be kept to a minimum. Alternative car parking is available in Harefield Road multi-storey car park and other car parks across the town centre. Location of these alternative car parks can be found on the Council’s website.

The survey works will then move to the Vicarage Street and Church Street area, however, no date for these works has, as yet, been confirmed. During these works some car parking spaces at Justice Walk Car Park will be temporarily affected. Further information and guidance will be given in due course.
