Countdown to start of Coventry & Warwickshire Businesses Festival

Monday 20 November will see the start of the first, annual Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival.
In its inaugural year, the Business Festival has already leapt to the top as the largest business event in the region, with a programme consisting of 114 events and thousands expected to attend from within and outside of the Coventry and Warwickshire area.
The Festival comprises an amalgamation of business events put on by organisations from across the region. It contains everything from impressive trade shows, conferences and workshops to seminars, debates, showcases, networking meetings and webinars.

There will be plenty going on over the fortnight. The packed Business Festival programme consists of over 100 different events that cover a wide range of different topics and subjects from professional and financial services, automotive and advanced manufacturing, education and logistics, to gaming, health and wellbeing and digital and cultural events.
Events are being staged here in Nuneaton and Bedworth and across the region including North Warwickshire, Rugby, Warwick, Stratford-on-Avon and Coventry.
With so much on offer, there will be something in the Business Festival that will appeal to everyone – whether a small and micro–business owner or large corporate organisation.
Nearly every event is free and absolutely anyone can attend.
Tickets to events must be booked in advance and are available on a first come, first served basis through the Business Festival website www.cwbusinessfestival.com
There is still time to get tickets but many events have already sold out, so it is advisable to book as soon as possible.
This brand-new Business Festival initiative has been developed by the Coventry &Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and the Coventry & Warwickshire Growth Hub. It is designed to bring the local business community together and at the same time, shout about the fantastic opportunities this region has to offer to investors under one branded banner – the Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival.
Having grown to a remarkable size in its first year and with such an impressive range of events, the Business Festival will certainly showcase Coventry and Warwickshire’s strengths, opportunities and potential as a beacon for investment, to the rest of the UK.
The 2017 Festival is supported by headline partner, the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). There are also a number of partners which all understand the importance and relevance of the Festival and want to contribute and be a part of the Festival’s success. These include the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, Coventry University, Jaguar Land Rover and the University of Warwick. Sponsors encompass CityFibre, Coventry University Enterprises, the Federation of Small Businesses and The Futureworks.
The Festival is also supported by Coventry’s bid to be UK City of Culture 2021, Coventry City Council, Deeley Construction, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, North Warwickshire Borough Council, Rugby Borough Council, Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Tisski, Warwickshire County Council and Warwick District Council.
