Forces! An Interactive exhibition by Techniquest - Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery 16 September – 5 November 2017
Published on Thursday, 24th August 2017
It’s here! Yes all the interactive, hands-on, science-fueled fun is back – this time it's all about forces and how they work all around us!
Get ready to do the seemingly impossible as we put different forces to the test. Have you ever thrown a ball and it NOT land on the floor? Or rolled an object and it go upwards? These are just some of the things you might be able to experience in this new exhibition.
As with all our shows entry to this educational exhibition is free to members of the public, however there is a small charge to booked groups to cover staff costs. Visitors are advised to visit Friday-Sunday, or after 3.30pm Tuesday – Thursday. This is to avoid coinciding with a booking, as the exhibition will be closed to the public when pre-booked groups are present. Full access to the public will be available during half-term (Tuesday 24 October – Friday 27 October). Please check our Facebook page for updates on when pre-booked groups are expected.
Cllr. Ian Lloyd, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture says:
“Science-based exhibits that the whole family can get hands-on with are always a real favourite at the Museum. Great for learning, great for inspiring and great for a fun day-out – what could be better!”
Remember, as with all our shows, admission is FREE and there are also our other displays to enjoy throughout the building.
In addition to our events, activities and permanent displays there is also chance to see:
British Wildlife Photography Awards Exhibition 2016, on show from 16 September to 29 October
Thinking About World Culture Objects, on show until 1 October.
