Are you the Borough’s next ‘Van-Gogh’?

van artwork to help with design

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is looking for inspiration to design the artwork for the new tenant engagement van.

This brand-new initiative will provide a space for council tenants to engage with staff from our housing teams in their own neighbourhoods more often.

Especially helpful for those people who do not have internet access, the van will increase the Council’s face-to-face engagement with tenants and provide a space where residents can come and chat to staff and make any suggestions to improve the housing services we provide. We really want to listen to our tenants views and act upon them.

We want tenants to feel that this is their community space, so are asking people to get creative and send us a design that would be suitable to be displayed on the side of the van.

Send your designs by email to resident.involvement@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk  additionally you can drop them in at Nuneaton Town Hall.

The art competition will be open from today, Monday 6 to Monday 27 November.

If you would like to request that the van visit your area, please contact our Tenant Engagement Officer, Emma using the contact details above.

Cllr Clare Golby, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Housing and Communities, said:

"We're on a mission to revamp the way we connect with our tenants, bringing our community spirit back to life by driving right into the heart of our communities.

"Introducing our new tenancy engagement van is just one of the ways we're making a difference, and we need your creativity to jazz up the van's exterior.

"We want it to be a showstopper, something that'll catch everyone's eye when we’re in your neighbourhood, so we can’t be missed.

"Your voice matters, and we want to hear what you have to say, now we want to see your ideas for giving our van a makeover too."
