History based sessions for children at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery this week
Published on Monday, 30th October 2023

Youngsters will soon be able to make replica Victoria Cross medals at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery.
The Wartime Make and Take workshops will be taking place on Thursday, 2 November, and the following day.
Participants will be able to make their own medals as well as a soldier or nurse jigsaw.
The events run from 11am until 3pm and there is no need to book. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cllr Sue Markham, Portfolio Holder for Public Services, said:
“These should be a couple of excellent sessions, allowing youngsters to make their own historically inspired artefacts.
“This is just one in a series of exciting events and activities at the Museum, and we would urge everyone to come along and make the most of this superb facility.’’
As with all exhibitions and shows, admission is free and there are also other displays and amusements to enjoy throughout the building.
While at the Museum, why not also check out our temporary exhibitions?
Please note, from Monday, 30 October, the Museum has switched to its winter opening times.
Visit our Museum & Art Gallery webpage for opening hours.
