Published on Thursday, 3rd August 2023

Nuneaton town centre will be echoing with the sound of music over the coming weeks.
A host of singers and muscians perform at Nuneaton’s Street Market in the Market Place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11am until 1pm.
Kyle Boswell, who will be singing on Saturday, 5 August, said:
“Outside gigs have always been a favourite of mine, so it’s a great pleasure to be involved and playing in Nuneaton.
“I am hoping some of my usual listeners will make the most of the occasion and that the shoppers who have not heard me before will find a few new favourite song in my tunes.
“Providing the rain stays away, they’ll be hearing original music that has been played on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire as well as covers from the likes of Paolo Nutini, Arctic Monkeys, Ed Sheeran and more.’’
Cllr Kris Wilson, Leader of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, said:
“This is the latest in our plans to improve our town centre and add to what is already on offer. I am sure that shoppers and visitors will enjoy the atmosphere created by the live music.
“If residents want to see more of this type of activity in our town centre then I would encourage them to come down, enjoy the music, and support the artists showcasing their talent.”
Kyle will be followed on Wednesday, 9 August by Ffion Rebecca, with Devon Mayson appearing the following Wednesday (16 August).
Lucy Turnbull will be entertaining on Saturday, August 19, with Holly Rolfe taking the slot on Wednesday, 23 August, with the month’s performances concluding with Le-Lilia on Saturday, 26 August.
