Published on Tuesday, 18th April 2023

A magnificent Festival of Arts is drawing to a close, but there is still time to visit Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery to see the exhibition for yourself.
This year's exhibition has seen excellent reviews, and there is still time to catch the Festival of Arts, which features 203 pieces of artwork in the adult classes and a further 224 in the children’s sections.
The various artworks on display including portraits, landscapes, and animals that have turned the galleries into a riot of colour.
Sunday, 23 April is the final day to take in the exhibition, having opened on Saturday, 25 March.
Artworks are often for sale at reasonable prices, there is also chance to find a bargain.
Cllr Sue Markham, Portfolio Holder for Public Services, said:
"The Festival of Arts is always a very well-received exhibition, and this year has been no exception.
"We have been delighted to display the artist's exceptional artwork at the museum and their pieces have made for an excellent Festival of Arts.
"I would encourage anybody who has yet to visit the museum to do so before the exhibition ends."
For keen photographers, there is still time to book a slot to submit your photographs to appear in the Festival of Arts Photography Show.
In addition, there is the chance to find out more about the Festival of Arts' sections and conditions of entry.
Also on at the gallery is “Where Did You Get that Hat”, which features hats from the museum’s collection as well as hats to try on and decorate.
Remember, as with all our shows, admission is free, but donations are welcomed.
