Open house at Town Hall to help Borough businesses

Nuneaton and Bedworth businesses needing support can take advantage of an Open House session taking place in Nuneaton.

The Business Support Event will be held at the Town Hall in Coton Road, Nuneaton, between 10am and 2pm on Wednesday, 25 January 2023.

Business Support Services attending include Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, Warwickshire County Council, Coventry and Warwickshire CDA, Warwickshire Skills Hub, Warwickshire Growth Hub, and Federation of Small Businesses.

There will also be members of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council’s economic development, Young Business Links and Programme Manager Tom Hobbs on hand.

The free event is open businesses of all sizes and registration is not required.

Councillor Clare Golby, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Communities at Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, said:

“We realise that many of our businesses in Nuneaton and Bedworth often need support and advice on a variety of important issues.

“We know this event will be highly beneficial since there are a number of organisations attending and we urge local businesses to do likewise and come along.’’  

The Skills Hub supports businesses, schools, and communities to create a well skilled population that meets the needs of the county's evolving economy and provide a landing space for virtual and county-wide skills services.

The Federation of Small Businesses helps smaller businesses achieve their ambitions, offering members a wide range of vital business services, including advice, financial expertise and business law basics.

Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce is a local hub for businesses to access a broad offer of business support, one of 53 Chambers of Commerce in the UK and together they make up a strong network of trusted champions of businesses, places and global trade.

Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub is a Government and Local Authority supported organisation which offers one to one advice and ongoing support in the region providing a front door to a vast range of business support initiatives and programmes.

Coventry and Warwickshire CDA are a not-for-profit organisation that provides a range of enterprise, employability, and financial inclusion services, helping our communities to become stronger.
