Could you run Keresley Community Centre?

A public consultation is now open for interested parties to express their interest in running Keresley Community Centre or make suggestions as to its future.
This year, the Borough Council announced it intended to transfer management of Keresley and Stockingford community centres to community groups or appropriate interested parties.
Following a Cabinet decision, a local committee have already been chosen to take over Stockingford Community Centre, and Council officers are now working with committee representatives to ensure the transfer runs as smoothly as possible.
For Keresley, we have had some great interest already but we would love to hear from any organisations or individuals who may be interested in taking over the running of the centre.
The consultation is open until midnight on Tuesday, 25 October and we invite suggestions or expressions of interest by email: consultation@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk
If a takeover proposal does not materialise, Keresley Community Centre may have to close.
