From Tuesday 23rd November 2021 to Monday 3rd January 2022, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is undertaking a 6 week public consultation on its updated Air Quality Action Plan under the Environment Act 1995. The Council has two Air Quality Management Areas for exceedances of the annual mean nitrogen dioxide objective. As a result the Council must produce an Air Quality Action Plan describing the pollution reduction measures it will put in place. The action plan is required to be reviewed and updated periodically. This review has been undertaken and the Council are seeking the public’s views on the proposed plan.

A hard copy of the plan is also available for inspection at Nuneaton Town Hall, Coton Road, Nuneaton, CV11 5AA, however this is by prior appointment only and can be arranged by calling 024 76376376.

Responses to the consultation should be emailed to env.health@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk 

Alternatively, postal responses should be sent to Environmental Health, Town Hall, Coton Road, Nuneaton, CV11 5AA.

All responses should be received by Monday 3rd January 2022.
