Published on Wednesday, 27th October 2021

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has introduced a Shop Front Improvement Grant scheme for eligible businesses in the Borough.

The scheme is available to existing freehold or leasehold owners of independent businesses, including those of vacant units and tenants of premises which provide commercial or community services.

Businesses located within Nuneaton and Bedworth town centres and other local shopping areas can benefit from this scheme.

The grant covers 100% of the eligible costs up to a maximum of £1,500 for the external renovation and improvement of ground and upper floors, and for hospitality businesses improvements to the outside space.

Cllr Kristofer Wilson, Leader of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council said:

“This is a great scheme to help local business improve their shop fronts or outside space. Business owners or tenants, I urge you to get in touch to see if you are eligible.

"This is yet another example of this new Conservative administration helping businesses through the Covid recovery.”

Grants are subject to appropriate lease and license checks as well as other terms and conditions. See our webpage here for more information or to make an application
