Wondering what to do over the Half Term? we have just the thing!

Tuesday 26 to Thursday 28 October 10.30am – 3.30pm Thursday Ground Floor only open

To tie in with their amazing Play and Display toy exhibition Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery have some great Make & Take activities for children over Half Term. Activities will be outside in the Gazebo (subject to suitable weather conditions). Check the Museum & Art Gallery Facebook page for updates.

  • Tuesday 26th October. Decorate and create a movable Melly Doll and find out about the story of Edward Melly, the man who built the Museum! 
  • Wednesday 27th October. Create an amazing Cone Creature!  We’ll show you how to make a shaped paper character of a dog, funny face or even an animal from the zoo!
  • Thursday 28th October. Make a fantastic spinning Colour Wheel

Why not explore Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery with their new free Museum Trail? Join Tootles the Museum Dog as he takes you on a journey of discovery around the exhibition galleries. He will have questions to ask so be sure you are at your most observant! Ask for your trail sheet at Museum Reception!  Also look out for the naughty rabbits, they’ve been on the move again around the museum. Can you find out where they are?

On your visit to the park there will be a new trail on the trees following the success of the alphabet trail earlier this year.  This time see if you can find all of the animals, this will be from October 19th.

Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery will also be offering its Museum at Home activities online over Half Term Week.
