Published on Wednesday, 11th August 2021

The Council are currently carrying out a public consultation on a Draft Local Enforcement Plan which runs from 13 August to 5 November 2021.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council are firmly committed to effective planning enforcement. This will focus on issues such as planning breaches, trees, high hedges, advertisements, and listed buildings. Alleged breaches of planning control will be investigated, and proportionate action will be taken to resolve them.

The draft local enforcement plan allows engagement in the objectives, sets out priorities and informs the decisions about when to take action. Our aim is also for the plan to provides greater transparency about how the Borough Council decides to take action.

The plan is now live on our website here. A hard copy of the plan is also available for inspection at Nuneaton Town Hall, Coton Road, Nuneaton CV11 5AA, however, this is by prior appointment only on Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm and can be arranged by calling 02476 376376.
