Public Consultation on Public Space Protection Order – Highway Vehicle Sales extended

Published on Wednesday, 11th August 2021

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is undertaking a public consultation on a proposed Public Space Protection Order under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

This order relates to vehicles being exposed for sale on the public highway. Initially the consultation was set to end on Friday 6th August 2021. However, the consultation period has now been extended and will run until Friday 27 August.

Vehicles being left for sale in prominent locations in the Borough has been a significant cause of concern for residents, businesses, and visitors to the area for some time. The order would prohibit vehicles being exposed for sale on ‘A’ and ‘B’ category roads in the Borough.

The consultation can be found at:

All responses to the consultation should be emailed to;
