Public Consultation on Public Space Protection Order – Highway Vehicle Sales

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is undertaking a 3 week public consultation on a proposed Public Space Protection Order under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
From Friday 16th July to Friday 6th August 2021, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is undertaking a 3 week public consultation on a proposed Public Space Protection Order under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. This order relates to vehicles being exposed for sale on the public highway.
Vehicles being left for sale in prominent locations in the Borough has been a significant cause of concern for residents, businesses and visitors to the area for some time. The order would prohibit vehicles being exposed for sale on ‘A’ and ‘B’ category roads in the Borough.

A hard copy of the proposed order is also available for inspection at Nuneaton Town Hall, Coton Road, Nuneaton CV11 5AA, however, this is by prior appointment only on Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm and can be arranged by calling 02476 376376.

Alternatively, postal responses should be sent to Environmental Health, Town Hall, Coton Road, Nuneaton CV11 5AA by 6th August 2021.
