Today the nation will come together to mark NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers’ Day.

We will be raising the dedicated flag on the Town Hall at 10am as a mark of respect and taking part in the two-minute silence at 11am.

Mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth, Cllr Rob Tromans commented:

“It has been an unprecedented time for the world during the covid-19 pandemic. Today provides a chance for us all to reflect and remember the sacrifice of so many.

“We will be taking the time to pay or respects to our fabulous NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers’ and I hope that you can join in to say thank you in your own way also.”

Cllr Kristofer Wilson, Leader of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council added:

“Our NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers’ have worked so hard and sacrificed so much during this pandemic. Today is a day to come together and offer our gratitude for the incredible work they do day in, day out.”
