Arbury Event 1

Come along to our interactive workshop and exhibition and have your say on future developments at Arbury.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is seeking community input to help shape a ‘design code’ for future developments within the borough. The purpose of the code is to provide a set of guidance that will set the character of future developments and ensure high-quality proposals that meet the vision and aspirations of the local community.

We are now beginning to put together a design code for a development site at Arbury and are seeking the community’s input during an interactive event. The feedback we receive will help us create an innovative document that truly reflects the views of the local people.

Our design team are hosting an interactive workshop, group walk-around and drop-in exhibition where you can ask questions, share your views, and put forward ideas. During the events you will be able to meet the project team, understand the site and help develop the vision for the area.

The event will take place on June 30 at Bermuda Phoenix Centre, Bermuda Road, Nuneaton, CV10 7HU. The workshop and walk-around will take place between 10 am and 3 pm, however if you wish to attend you will need to sign-up, which you can do by contacting the Planning Policy team at In the evening between 5 pm and 8 pm, there will be a drop-in exhibition, which does not require a sign-up, so anyone can come along during the event to find out about the design code. Please come along and get involved in the process!

Cllr Richard Smith, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council Portfolio holder for Planning and Regulation commented:

“We want local people to get involved in this event and share their views of what future developments should look like. Help us to develop a design code that really reflects the views of local people. Please come along and have your say!”
