Coronavirus vaccinations are being stepped up in Nuneaton to help more eligible residents to get protected

A vaccination bus will be in Nuneaton town centre today (Friday 21 May) and tomorrow (Saturday 22 May) as part of plans to encourage more people aged over 40 to get the vaccination.

The decision to step-up vaccinations in the area coincides with increased COVID-19 testing in the Wembrook and Abbey wards following the identification of confirmed cases of the variant first identified in India. It is more important than ever than people come forward for their vaccine to protect themselves and their families.

Local residents who are 40 and over can just turn up to the bus which will be on the Queen’s Road, Market Place between 9am -5pm on Friday and Saturday – no appointment is needed. This is for first dose only.
