The 21/22 green bin collection scheme starts soon

Following the introduction of the opt-in green bin collection scheme in 2019, the next service renewal is approaching and the 2021/2022 service will begin on Monday 1st February 2021.
Customers wishing to sign up should ensure they have done so by Friday 15th January 2021 in order to receive their stickers in time to start receiving collections.
There will be a two weeks suspension to the green bin collection service prior to the new service beginning. The service will be suspended from Monday 18th January until the new scheme begins in February.
Whilst sign-ups to the service can be taken up to October 2021, please be aware that service subscription stickers can take up to 10 working days to be delivered and fortnightly collections will not begin until new permit stickers are visible on the bin. There are no reductions for part-year sign-ups.

The collection service remains at a cost of £40 per year.
