Please remember NBBC staff are working hard to keep residents and visitors safe this autumn. Can we please ask that all leaf fall onto private land and gardens is collected and disposed of responsibly
During the autumn, many roads suffer from the continual fall of leaves. We have a duty to clear leaves, but priority is given to:
- Areas of high pedestrian use
- Road junctions
- Roads with steep slopes
During November 2020 until mid-December 2020 our precinct street sweepers are working on leaf clearance, targeting areas of high leaf fall within the Borough. These machines will be supported by our large street sweepers on the highway and some manual sweeping in harder to access areas.
We will endeavour to sweep all of the areas above when required, however, it may take longer to clear some areas in high density locations due to the number of trees, parked vehicles or in adverse weather conditions.
Please note that while we are targeting high density areas, we may be unable to provide a reactive service to requests for leaf clearance. If you feel an area might require additional leaf clearance or to report incidents of littering, please contact us on: firstname.lastname@example.org

Glen McGrandle, Head of Waste and Transport said:
"Street cleansing staff are historically very busy at this time of year with resources stretched in-order to target increased need. Therefore, whilst we endeavour to respond to all enquires, we ask residents to be aware that some works will take longer than normal to complete."
For more information about leaf clearance, or to report littering, please contact Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council on 024 7637 6376.
