FREE Half Term Activities for Children

Published on Thursday, 22nd October 2020

Saturday 24 October to Saturday 31 October - Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery

Join Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery over Half Term as we will be offering fun both on and off site.  There will be fabulous downloadable craft activities, a new Museum Trail and a chance to take part in our Museum Alphabet Challenge!

If you are visiting the Museum ask for our brand new ‘Tootles Tricky Trail’! Tootles is the Museum’s lovable inquisitive cartoon dog. Let him take you on a socially distanced trail around the Museum, discovering objects, pictures and questions galore! Pick up a free Tricky Trail from Reception together with clipboard and pencil.

As part of your visit why not take part in the Museum Alphabet Trail? Take a walk around Riversley Park and discover pictures of some of our objects, each starting with a letter. Can you complete the alphabet by finding all the pictures?

If you are at home, you can still join in the fun! Visit our new webpage at https://www.nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk/museum-at-home to download and print out some fantastic activities each day of the holidays. Our activities are inspired by artist David Kearney. Children can get creative creating landscape collages, movable pictures and castles all inspired by David’s work

Why not show us what you have created? Show your masterpiece creations by sharing them on our Facebook page at facebook.com/nuneatonmuseum

Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Book your ticket via Eventbrite: nuneatonmuseum.eventbrite.co.uk or call us on 024 7637 6158

You can also visit the ground floor and tearoom only on Thursday!
