FREE Alphabet Trail Exhibition in Riversley Park
Published on Friday, 31st July 2020
Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery have created a new park based experience this summer from Thursday 30 July to Friday 4 September 2020.
With the museum opening next week for booked visits, we also wanted to make sure that people could access the museum’s collections outside of the building as well.
The exhibition takes the form of laminated images and text, one for each letter of the alphabet which are secured to trees around the park. Visitors are challenged to find the whole alphabet on their visit to the park.
Cllr Ian Lloyd, Portfolio Holder for Arts & Leisure said:
"It’s great that we have been able to add an extra free activity for families to try in the park during the summer holidays, particularly when so many people will be spending their summers in the borough.”
Don’t forget that for days which are too rainy to visit the museum and park, that the museum also offers activities you can do at home. Visit our new webpage at www.nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk/museum-at-home to download and print out some fantastic activities each week of the holidays. Children can get creative with puppets, masks, models and mobiles, with a different theme every week!
You can also show us your masterpiece creations by sharing them on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/nuneatonmuseum
Cllr Ian Lloyd stated:
“If you are looking for creative and fun activities for children over the Summer holidays, these activities offer a great opportunity to get involved online at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery.”
