Last week, NBBC craned in the modular homes for our new build development site at Pine Tree Road in Bedworth.

The development will be called ‘Centennial Close’, as a way of marking the 100 year anniversary of the provision of Council housing across the country.

All of the properties have been built through our innovative single supplier framework with Ashby and Croft Ltd, a locally based modular building specialist.  The framework has allowed NBBC to design the accommodation to provide spacious, energy efficient and welcoming homes and have them delivered much more quickly through traditional house building methods.

The development will consist of 6 x 2 bedroom semi-detached houses, as well as 4 x 1 bedroom apartments.

Cllr Chris Watkins, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Communities said:

“We are delighted to be providing affordable new build homes in Bedworth for our residents. All homes are built to national space standards, using modern methods of construction, ensuring that the homes are of a high standard.  We have continued to deliver affordable housing throughout lockdown, whilst working to safe operating procedures."
