Anti-social behaviour (ASB)
What is not anti-social behaviour
The council can often be asked to intervene in situations where there is a clash in lifestyles or a disagreement, but no anti-social behaviour is taking place. Examples of this could include:
- Ball games - download the leaflet providing advice about ball games
- Parking disputes
- Youths congregating
When the council is deciding whether something is anti-social behaviour and investigated as such, careful thought is given to whether the behaviours outlined above need to be tackled and whether these behaviours are having a detrimental impact on the local population.
