Nuneaton Christmas Lights Switch on 2023
Finally we get to Nuneaton to turn on its Christmas Lights on Friday, 24 November, at 6:00pm.
The third event in our Christmas calendar, we arrive in Nuneaton to bring festive cheer to one and all.
We will have 31 food and craft stalls in Queens Road, courtesy of CJ Events Warwickshire, Crowhill Premier Pig Roast will be in Market Place with batches, Billy Bates Funfair will as always bring their rides and stalls around the town centre.
From 3pm we will have a live stage in Market Place, next to the Christmas tree with the following entertainment:
- 3:00pm: The stage will start playing festive tunes
- 4:00pm: Le-lilia sings a variety od songs including her Christmas single 'Santa Tonight'
- 5:00pm: Aspire in Arts join us to showcase their talents
- 6:00pm: Switch on with a short firework display from Town Hall roof
- 6:10pm: Alfie Wallace takes to the stage with Indie hits
- 7:10pm: Aspire Theatre Company perform songs from their upcoming pantomime Cinderella
- 8:00pm: End of the event
At 6:00pm, the Mayor will turn on the Christmas Lights from the Town Hall steps, which will coincide with a short firework display from the roof. The Town Hall and Riverside car parks won't be open for Health and Safety.
There wil be road closures in place to make sure we are being safe.
