Remembrance Sunday Parades and Services

Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

We remember the Armed Forces, and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.

In the borough we have four Remembrance Parades and Service taking place on Sunday 12 November. 

Ash Green 10:35am to 12:45pm
Temporary roads closed: Vicarage Lane, St Giles Road, Church Lane - to keep the service safe.

Bulkington 10:00am to 11:30am
Temporary roads closed: Chequer Street, Leicester Street, School Road - to keep the parade safe.

There will be limited access to St James Church, Bulkington Village Comminty Centre and Bulkington Congregational Church during parade times.

Bedworth 10:15am to 12:00pm
Temporary roads closed: Sergeant Simon Valentine Way, Coventry Road - to keep the parade safe.

After the cemetery service, the parade will filter into the Church, through the cemtery for another service. This is the end of the public facing 

Nuneaton 10:00am to 2:00pm
Temporary roads closed: Coventry Street, Coton Road, Chapel Street, Jubilee Way, Vicarage Street, Clinic Drive, Market Place, Queens Road, Newdegate Street - to keep the parade safe.

During the parade - vehicles exiting the Ropewalk car park will be held while the parade marches passed. Once it is safe and parade is in Riversley Park.
Disabled parking bays outside Virgin Money Nuneaton and Eaton House on Coton Road will also be included in the temporary closure.
