Applications may be inspected in the Town Hall.

Representations to an application can be made in opposition to, or in support of, an application and can be made by any individual, body or business that has grounds to do so.  Representations must be made in writing to the Licensing Section within a specified time period.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is level 5 on the standard scale (currently £5,000).
