What will happen if you take your dog into an exclusion zone
We have one animal warden who promotes responsible dog ownership. They can issue fixed penalty notices of £100 for people failing to comply with the order. This sum is reduced to £80 if paid within the initial ten days of issue. If the fine is not paid the case will be taken to court. When an offence is committed, the individual in charge of the dog can be prosecuted and face a fine of up to £1000.
