Procurement tender opportunities and guidance

CSW-Jets tendering portal

Since February 2010, Local Authorities across Warwickshire have been working together as a shared procurement service with a shared procurement strategy and savings plan. CSW-JETS enables us to advertise our opportunities across all authorities through the same system. This means that there is a single point of contact for procurement in the sub region so you only have to register once to receive notifications for all authorities.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council spend on average £22 million per annum distributed across council services:

  • Housing and Communities
  • Governance and Recreation
  • Regeneration and Public Protection
  • Assets and Street Services
  • Finance and Procurement
  • Corporate Services
  • Business Improvement

The Council have various contractual opportunities varying from software and information technology to building contracts and specialised requirements such as consultancy, cleaning, public welfare, vehicle management, property maintenance and many more. The Council endeavours to make as many contractual opportunities as possible available online via the CSW-Jets portal providing free 24/7 access to our opportunities. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council are looking to increase the amount of collaborative working with other Local Authorities within Warwickshire to increase value for money and business benefits to suppliers.

Many Council contracts are tendered via the CSW-JETS website in an attempt to streamline and simplify the tender process for all participating parties. The system is fully secure and auditable with functions available to communicate directly with Council to further reduce the costs and risks associated with hard-copy tenders.
