Private Fostering

Private fostering is when a person is caring for someone else's child aged under 16 years (18 if they have a disability) who is not a close relative (eg; a great aunt or cousin would be a private foster carer, however, a grandparent or aunt would not) for 28 days or more.

If you come across any of these circumstances you should notify the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub on 01926 414 144.
