Town Centres Partnership

Nuneaton and Bedworth Town Management Partnerships are organisations dedicated to improving the vitality and viability of the Town Centres.  There are now individual Partnership Boards for Nuneaton and Bedworth which meet quarterly.

 

The Partnerships provide the vehicle for town centre management in Nuneaton and Bedworth to be further developed in line with changes in local and central government policies. The Partnership structure provides clarity and autonomy enabling the board to develop initiatives in conjunction with existing and new partners which will benefit members and the town centres as a whole.

 

The Partnerships have a unique relationship with the private and voluntary service sectors, and joining the Partnership offers a membership scheme second to none. Membership in the Partnership will not only provide the opportunity for members to improve their own businesses, but will also provide the opportunity for funds to be levered in from various sources, ensuring excellent returns for members.

 

The Board's structure ensures that at a strategic level the development of the company will reflect the elements of town centre management which will impact upon the future economic wellbeing of the towns. The role of the sub groups that feed into the Board is to develop specific initiatives of benefit to members and ensure delivery on the ground.

 

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has demonstrated its faith in Partnerships and has allowed the Board to utilise a number of Council assets to develop the town centre offer and generate income streams. This partnership built on solid foundations will undoubtedly continue to flourish in the future with its shared goal of revitalising Nuneaton and Bedworth town centres.
