Your Housing Options Explained

Home seekers are being offered an easy-read, up-to-date newsletter advising them of alternative housing options available in the Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough.
As fewer Council homes are becoming available Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council Housing Department are letting everyone know what other choices of housing are available in the area. Applicants may want to consider rent with a private landlord, become a Housing Association tenant, or join a Homebuy or shared ownership scheme. A copy has been sent to everyone on the Council’s waiting list and to everyone affected by Phase 3 of the Camp Hill Regeneration project.
Councillor Bob Copland, Portfolio Holder for Housing says:
“I welcome this new initiative in helping applicants who are looking for housing. Its really important to make people aware of the alternatives of housing available to them, other than traditional Council Housing. We want everyone in the borough to have the opportunity to live in a decent home and providing everyone with this information should enable them to make an informed decision.”
