Wired Up: Three artists take on digital art

Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery

9 June – 15 July 2007

A group exhibition of digital art, the three artists taking park in the exhibition focus on a variety of subjects, from transformations to the effects of war and global warming, to wildlife and abstract imagery.

A number of methods have been used to produce the digital imagery on show. Adam Craig and Michael Hughes have used photographic software to rework a number of pictures into new images, and Helen Ward has hand drawn images and digitally manipulated them.

Further information about the artists will accompany the exhibition, and gallery interactives related to digital art will be available for children.

Cabinet member for Culture and Recreation, Neil JP Phillips says:

“I expect this to be an innovative and thought provoking exhibition, incorporating modern techniques as a way of promoting art in its modern form, and I look forward to visiting the exhibition with friends myself”.

All work is for sale and ranges in price from £19 - £195
