Trust the Experts in Play This Summer!
Only the Play Rangers can be trusted this summer holiday to keep your children entertained – just ask the hundreds of satisfied parents who make the most of the many outings, events and fun activities provided by the team 12 months a year!
Others may claim to be experts at summer time fun but parents know that when it comes to play time, the Play Rangers are the true professionals!
Entertaining over 17,000 children in the past year, it’s clear to see that they are the experts in keeping your children entertained this summer.
The Play Rangers are so committed to reducing the stress levels of parents this summer holiday that they will be involved in not one, but two schemes to keep the youngsters entertained.
The Breakaway Club play scheme will run from 9am to 4pm every weekday throughout August – but be quick as places need to be booked for your child by July 18. The club will be offering, for a small charge, a multitude of arts, sports and activities in both Nuneaton, from Nuneaton Town Football Club’s Triton Showers Stadium, and Bedworth, from the Civic Hall.
As well as the Breakaway Club, the Play Rangers will also be out and about in Riversley Park in Nuneaton and Bailey Park in Bedworth over the holidays continuing with their own unique brand of play that the Borough’s children and families have come to love. All of these park-based sessions are, as always, provided free of charge although parents will be required to attend along with their children.
Cllr Ian Lloyd, Cabinet Member for Arts and Leisure, said:
“The Breakaway Club is the best play scheme to be run in the Borough over the summer. Parents can trust the Council’s Play Rangers to run a professional scheme where their children will not only be entertained but also kept safe.
“There is something different happening every day with arts, crafts, games, sport and more taking place, and with the scheme working to school hours, we hope this will help parents manage their childcare needs throughout August without breaking the bank.”
More information about the Breakaway Club and the Play Rangers activities over the summer is available on the Council’s website. To book your place on the Breakaway Club call the booking line on 024 7637 6707.
