Play Photos
The Play Rangers in Nuneaton and Bedworth who are bringing children, and parents, back in to the parks of Nuneaton and Bedworth by running free fun open access play activities. which helping making our parks a safer place to play are all set for an exciting time over the coming summer holidays.  Armed with lots of different activities to keep the kids occupied the Play Rangers will be around the borough’s parks during daytime hours.

All children between the ages of 4 to 13 are invited to participate in these free sessions, and are open access, under 8 years must however be accompanied by an adult.

Councillor Des O’Brien, Portfolio Holder for Culture and Recreation said today,

“With the fantastic hot weather that we are having at the moment, this is a great opportunity to get out and about in your local park.  The Play rangers are building on the success of the summer holiday activities last year, with a great programme lined up for children of all ages, this coupled with National Play Day, the summer can’t get any better for children of our Borough.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council’s Outdoor Play Strategy is investing £2million over eight years in refurbishing 43 play areas across the whole of Nuneaton and Bedworth.  The Play Rangers are supported by £223 000 from the Big Lottery Fund Children’s Play Programme.
