Parent & Toddler Car Parking Spaces

Following a recent article in the local press, and a subsequent customer survey that had been undertaken within Nuneaton Town Centre, the Borough Council has been considering some of the concerns that have been raised in connection with the lack of Parent & Toddler parking spaces within the Town Centre Car Parks.
As a result of the feedback received from the general public regarding this particular issue, it has been agreed by the Cabinet member for Planning and Development (Councillor David Bryden) that a number of new Parent & Toddler spaces are to be introduced within the Rope Walk Multi Storey car park as soon as possible.
Plans are now in place to create four new Parent & Toddler spaces very close to the entrance to the Shopping Mall on floor 3 of the Rope Walk Multi Storey car park. These will hopefully be available for use from Monday 15th September 2008.
Councillor David Bryden, Cabinet Member for Planning and Development said:
“I am delighted to announce the introduction of some new Parent & Toddler spaces within the Rope Walk Multi Storey Car Park. We have listened to the feedback that we have received from the users of our car parks, and have taken steps to address some of their concerns. I will continue to closely monitor how well this change is received, and will undertake further reviews as necessary”
