Guess the missing plants! – Carnival Competition
Events and promotions staff from Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council were on hand at the Nuneaton Carnival last Saturday, 16th June to give advice and information on Recycling, giving up smoking and on outdoor events from Parks & Countryside.
As part of this event, Parks & Countryside held a competition to ‘Win a Planter’. The question was to say which plant was missing from the Summer Bedding Planter. Over 50 people entered the competition, with the winner picked as Daniel Wright from Cherry Tree Avenue, Camp Hill. Daniel was thrilled with his prize and is collecting it from the Council depot early next week.

“The Carnival is an exciting community event, one that residents from the whole borough become involved in either, as a participant of giving their support on the procession route. Well done to Daniel who correctly identified that the missing plant from the container was a Marigold. Well done!”
Also given out from the promotional stand was the Spring/Summer edition of the newly launched Events Guide.
